Best Western Plus Liverpool - Syracuse Inn & Suites

Our stay was terrible.

Liked: I liked the location.
Disliked: No one came to clean our room. We had to keep asking for wash clothes and towels. We had to keep going to the front desk to reactivate our door badge room key.

Disappointed

Liked: Breakfast was fake eggs and sausage-was okay. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Bathroom smelled like urine. I made a comment to the staff upon checking out but have not heard anything in response. Also red spots on comforter - making it look unclean. Room had an overall odor.

Liked: asking for a refund = manager having the cops remove you due to simple requests. carbon monoxide alarm woke us up with multiple calls to the customer service with no response

Liked: I stayed from Friday until Sunday for a dance comp so we weren’t in the hotel much, but during the stay we had a few issues. First I want to say the one front desk guy was extremely nice and friendly. When we got to the hall upstairs it smelled like baby powder so bad which usually indicates a fogger (roach flea and bedbug bomb) but thankfully I didn’t see anything in my room except a bunch of dust and spiderwebs lol. The bed did have a few stains on the blanket and someone’s hair all over the bed but I bring extra blankets just in case. The rooms keys didn’t work half the time, and none of the side entrances work with the keycard at night which was kind of an inconvenience with parking and having to go thru the main entrance. But my main issue was the pool and hot tub. This hotel is like the only one with a hot tub but it was extremely dirty and had ants floating in it and infested around it. Hair all floating in it. When my daughter changed into dry clothes there was a bug in her bathing suit. The pool floor was extremely slimy which I’ve never experienced before. Wasn’t pricey at all but definitely needs to do better.

Liked: Its clean, I like that there's a pool and hot tub indoors...accommodating with early check in and needs
Disliked: The hot tub seems to never work, pool was closed our last day there ...

If we weren’t desperate for...

Liked: Juice was the only decent thing about the whole place.
Disliked: Breakfast was small, eggs were one big clump of prepared eggs and very wet. No forks available. Milk was gone for cereal and bread for toast was hard as a rock
