Best Western Plus Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel

We stayed because it was close to the Starlight Theatre. Overall, the room was very clean with nice amenities. Would definitely stay again if I am ever in Kansas City.

Liked: Great location - couldn't be closer to the Kauffman Stadium.

Price and location to Kauffman...

Liked: We had to change rooms twice, first because there was no chair in the shower. The second because there was a shower chair but only one bed and we needed two beds. Location was nice and convenient.
Disliked: Too bad the hotel didn't have a hotel shuttle. Had to be a little careful walking nearby.

Disliked: The sofa sleeper in the single king room was really unwieldy and cumbersome, clearly not designed to be in the room. Adequate at best- It could not be opened for sleeping without completely rearranging the room

Disliked: No complaints except one elevator was out of order. It didn't cause any issues, though.

Liked: The only thing we liked was that it was in front of the baseball stadium and we could walk there. the beds were comfortable. You have a Taco Bell next door and also a gas station.
Disliked: The room had fruit flies and had a strange smell but it wasn't damp... They didn't have swim caps! The worst thing was that we were stuck in the elevator for 40 minutes until the firefighters arrived, and NO ONE came to check on us or see if they could help us with anything! No one apologized for the unpleasant experience we had to endure! That really bothered me! Unacceptable! It's as if they're used to it and think it's normal.

Decent stay but didn’t really...

Liked: The beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure
Disliked: The outside of the property leaves a lot to be desired. While they seem to have been doing some work on fixing up the inside the outside would keep me away.
