Best Western Plus Kansas City Sports Complex Hotel

We stayed because it was close to the Starlight Theatre. Overall, the room was very clean with nice amenities. Would definitely stay again if I am ever in Kansas City.

Liked: Everything about this hotel was wonderful I like the fitness room they had a little bar downstairs that's open on Saturdays on the weekend the room was clean the bed was comfortable hotels was clean they got a nice size pool I looked at it but didn't get a chance to use it but and they had a buffet breakfast

Disliked: There’s only one entrance. The faucet of the sink leaked and we didn’t know. So some personal items got wet. I overslept checkout time. Usually they just charge my card. I’m ok with that. But housekeeping came ( which is what woke me) then the front desk called. Again not a problem I’ll pay let me throw something on and get myself together before coming down spitting hot fire morning breath in your face. Then a guy comes to my door saying he smelled weed. I laughed and said really?? Yall know I just got up. He then proceeded to tell me to leave. Of course I’m leaving at this point. I’ll book my last night elsewhere. He then proceeded to grab me and try to pull me out of my room. My boyfriend had to intervene. I called the police, but they didn’t come. I drove from Oklahoma to be assaulted and inconvenienced, all because I overslept and was willing to pay the late checkout fee and rebook. Exactly why I stick with Marriott and Hilton. All to save a couple dollars. NEVER AGAIN

Liked: Loved the location! The ladies at the front were kind and helpful. They also dressed very professional which I think really helps a guest feel more comfortable because staff take their jobs seriously. I loved the breakfast buffet. There was a very good selection of food. The room was spacious and clean. Very good stay!

Disliked: Room was smaller than a lot of other hotel rooms, smoking area was directly outside of the entrance so there was a smell, recreation floor also had a strange smell.
