Very good

Liked: Spacious room, large comfortable bed, friendly staff, good parking, large garden, great breakfast.
Disliked: A lot of minor maintenance is needed. If a bit money was spent on fixing a few things i wouldnt hesitate to give 5 stars.

Liked: Breakfast was good, constantly getting topped up so nothing really ran out. Good selection of cereals fruits and croissants also. We had a great time in Dunfermline town centre , plenty places for foods and drinks
Disliked: Rooms were a little too hot for our liking so we were struggling to sleep and the bar was a bit outdated , cider tap was giving out water . I got served a pink gin and lemonade and the lemonade came out of a jug. Would have preferred option of a can if draught is not available

Location YES, everything else NO....

Liked: The location met our needs perfectly as we were very mobile with our travels.
Disliked: We were very excited about our stay, but I feel that the images about the hotel, when it comes to rooms, the pool etc. do not match the reality of the rooms per se. Rooms were average and not as clean. We had to change our room, right from the start, as we have found a bunch of hair in the bathroom/bed. In the new room, we ended up finding someone’s underwear, in the cabinet with coffee/tea tray etc.,couple of days later and it looked as if it was there for a while. I was grossed out. No phone in rooms, so for everything that you need, you need to go to the front desk. Not sure how room service works, in that regard. Not worth the cost, in my opinion.

Lovely location and facilities, but...

Liked: Great location and facilities. Buffet breakfast and dinner nice. Staff friendly and accommodating. Grounds of hotel were very beautiful and tranquil.
Disliked: Room decor quite outdated. Some light fixtures not working. Room temperature far too hot, even on cooler and overcast days. Pretty much unbearable to sleep in. Checked all radiators were off. When subject approached with reception, we were told they had never heard of this problem before, that there were no other rooms available, but they could provide a fan. When this wasn't provided, we requested it again in the evening and were told that all fans had been given out. However, the member of staff kindly gave us the fan from reception.
