Liked: Not quite in the center, but was not a problem for my stay. Historic building with a fantastic breakfast room (former ball room). Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Overall good value for money
Disliked: The heating system is not really optimal, at least in the room I stayed. No heat in the radiator and cold in the room, one has to ask at the reception to switch heating on, but then it is very hot, so optimal time is probably 2 h. If you stay several days then asking every day is a bit annoying. It is probably not an issue in summer when it is warmer or in winter when one would heat all the time. Also, in 4 days I stayed nobody came to make the bed and to change the towels. Probably this would be possible on the request.

Liked: Staff were lovely. Location was excellent. Room was very comfortable.
Disliked: Insufficient tea and milk. There was lots of variety but my tastes are simpler.Bathroom had some mould in places and steamed up when the shower was used. Toilet seat was loose.

Disliked: The place is not clean. It hasn’t been updated or been taken care of for about 40 years. The hallway smell like poop, many of the windows were broken, the fire exit was full of broken plates and trash, the outside of the building is in a bad state of repair, the carpet is disgusting, and it is clear that zero investment has been made on this property for a long time. Also, the way the staff dresses is very slovenly.
