Liked: Fantastic location
Disliked: I was given a room on the first night which was in the basement area. Because it was below street level and looked out at a busy corner pub I couldn’t open the curtains for privacy reasons. When I complained I was told it was equivalent’ to the Executive Suite I had paid for. It certainly was not equivalent as upon insisting the room was changed the following day and the difference in room quality was significant.

Good hotel with complimentary sweets

Liked: Room of good size, quiet, clean, complimentary sweets/tea/coffee. Close to train station, Hyde park, cafes, pubs.

Nice Hotel in Central London

Liked: This hotel is in a great location, right by Hyde Park, and in walking distance to a subway station. It made it very easy to navigate the city. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good value for money and had a huge selection of food options. The rooms were clean.
Disliked: The rooms and bathrooms are small, but this is expected for a downtown London hotel. The fitness centre was a tiny room with a treadmill, bike and elliptical. No free weights or a weight stack.

Disliked: Rooms were noisy lack of soundproofing or poor dividing wall construction. Door closers required on all bedroom doors to avoid banging and disturbance. All Staff need to be more welcoming and friendly.
