Best Western London Highbury

I arrived well before check in just to drop off my suitcase and the helpful receptionist said there might be a room. Albeit, it was small but suited me. Handy location for tube station and train. I certainly will be back. Absolutely no complaints.

Liked: Breakfast, location and staff.
Disliked: Smallish room and had to take suitcases down some stairs.

Clean room; easy check in/out.

Liked: Fabulous Stay staff were so helpful and friendly , Clean and Tidy rooms , Great Breakfast and Great Location for the Emirates Stadium within walking Distance or short Taxi ride.

Disliked: The mattress was too firm for us, it felt like the whole bed was on a slantDidn’t like the quality of the cooked breakfast

Clean and quiet.

Liked: Warm welcome from reception staff, nice breakfast with a good selection, clean. Being on -1 floor was a bonus as it was quiet.
Disliked: Quite hard pillows, very small ensuite, breakfast staff were not friendly, cleared up around us noisily before 10am. It was also further from Emirates than we thought. No bar after 11pm, shame as it would've rounded off our evening.

Liked: Nothing only the location
Disliked: Rooms, dirty, (stained chair and mattress) too small, safe's broken, kettle not cleaned! Very noisy, can hear everything!! The bed was rock hard and was against the wall with barely enough room to get around, I kept knocking my leg so had to roll across the bed to get off. As the wall was dirty I wasn't keen on laying too close to that side of the bed.The breakfast was mediocre. Only thing I liked was that it served plum tomatoes! The egg was tasteless and bacon overcooked and mushrooms very watery. The croissant was more like cake than pastry and very sweet and doughy. It was very basic. I haven't got my brother's photos of his room, so the ones here are room 300.

Disliked: The breakfast staff . Very unprofessional!!! Heard raised voices it was apparent that one lady was not happy with other staff member . She then came out to clear up & was clattering the plates & dishes about & you could tell she just wanted everyone to finish their breakfast even shutting the door & turning off equipment @ 9.55 The reception staff were lovely
