Lovely location, great hotel, spoiled...

Liked: Staff and food, good.
Disliked: Our room overlooked the roof of the kitchen and its fabulous extraction system that was constantly on and emitted the smell of whatever was cooking below straight into our room. The sunny facing room with the superheated roof outside was so hot, a fan was provided, but no air-conditioning. We were told we had to dine early for dinner, 7, rather than 8 when it was busy, only to find a quiet dining area with no late rush, but still had to wait 30 mins from ordering to receiving our dessert.

Great location and friendly staff

Liked: Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. My mum has mobility issues and our location accommodated that very well. Rooms were good size, with spacious bathrooms. The breakfast service had lots of choice, with good quality food and a lovely view. Extremely pleasant stay.
Disliked: Nothing not to like, just notable that whilst cleaned well, there is some aging and refurbishment needed in some of the bathrooms and rooms such as rusty grouting etc.
