Best Western Hunt's Landing Hotel Matamoras/Milford

Liked: Hotel was clean.
Disliked: Web sites advertised "Come enjoy our pool" - pool was not working! Breakfast was fair.

Comfort and hospitality.

Liked: Convenient location. Helpful staff. Breakfast was doable. Jacuzzi bathtub a nice extra.
Disliked: Loud AC. Bathroom fan on continuously without any way to shut it off. TV remote not working properly. 1st room offered had a very strong disinfectant smell. We requested another and we got it without any fuss.

Nice Hotel

Liked: We choose Best Western over the Hampton Inn next door because Best Western has better TVs that allow us to use our Amazon fire stick. This allows us to watch our TV channels from home rather than being stuck with the standard limited channels offered on hotel TV's. We also think the breakfast is better. The rooms are pretty large and clean. The lobby is nice and the restaurants are good as well. Staff are very friendly.
Disliked: I don't like that Best Western does not offer real milk for coffee. I can't stand those little Half and Half creamers so I have to buy my own milk and bring it with me to use it in my coffee. I can only drink decaf coffee and like to have a cup or two at night. During our last stay, the decaf dispenser was "out of order" one morning so we went to a diner for breakfast just so I could have a cup of coffee. My only other issues were the noisy air conditioner that made rattling noise and the not very comfortable beds. The beds may be comfortable for other people, but my husband and I both crawled out of bed with aching backs. We're used to our own firmer mattress. That's just a matter of personal preference.

Liked: I like how easy it was to check in n out. Everyone was so friendly.
Disliked: The ac barely worked. I sleep with the ac and it was not cold at all. The bathroom wasn't 100% cleaned. There was toothpaste and a hair from the person before in the sink. Lastly the room had weed smell coming in and with it being a smoke free facility wasn't happy with the smell. It came from room next store or hallway.

Liked: It was in a convenient area of where I needed to be and an optimal place to be picked up and dropped off from a connecting Coach Bus
Disliked: The amenities and overall style could be upgraded a little and the food offered in the restaurants on sight were a little too overpriced for what the quality is
