Best Western Grimsby Oaklands Hall Hotel

Great staff and location. Lovely...

Liked: The staff were brilliant and would make special mention of the Receptionist when we arrived. This was a late booking and she looked after us and made sure we got a meal even though the hotel was very busy with a wedding.The staff in the evening who looked after us were also brilliant, especially our waiter, Harrison, and the Superviser.All were friendly but professional and efficient.

Liked: Dinner was very good. The food was excellent, even if we had to move to the bar to eat as the restaurant became one large group event!
Disliked: The hotel is not really a hotel but a wedding and private function center! We were ‘bundled’ in with other guests attending the private functions, our room was on ‘top’ of the disco, we had to move our dinner reservation to the bar because the restaurant was taken over by a group function, and breakfast was half cleared away by the time came down… at a time given to us by the lady at check-in!! All in all, disappointing!
