Liked: Beautiful location, easy to get to, lovely friendly staff.
Disliked: Menu was very limited for eating in the restaurant and when the food arrived it was slightly different to what was on the description on the menu.

Liked: Attended for a family members wedding, the wedding itself was great although some of the teenage staff looked disinterested. The young men behind the bar where fantastic and so was the wedding coordinator. The food was ok, buy the best not the worst. What happened next changed the whole outcome of the stay for me and my partner. He's from the states and compared the standard room we had to a cheaper to mid motel that you can get for around £30 a night. The room was very basic, very dated and cramped. The TV wasn't a smart TV, the bed was just a mattress of bad springs, the hairdryer looked to be from the 80s and ripped from the wall, and the tea facilities left in a hard cupboard. Stains on the scatter cushions, and our biggest surprise was at 3.30am when we had woke to use the bathroom only to find a mass of ants crawling in and around the toilet seat, along the walls and some even ventured into the bedroom. Rang the night porter that offered us a room swap at 3.30am which we declined due to the time and not wanting to turf are stuff around. Morning finally came and we sat ate breakfast which was just ok, hard bacon and a hash brown hammer. We spoke to the man at reception I am guessing the GM and was met with what seemed to be a passive aggressive attitude and unapologetic tonality. After some back and forth and questions he did decide to give us a full refund. Consensus: venue is great for an event but the standard room price of £94.50 just isn't justifiable for the room, cleanliness and room facilities. Will not be staying again.
