Disliked: The registration girl was rude.

The staff was very helpful - especially the recommendation to take a cab to the Keith Urban concert at the Klipsch Center.

Comfortable beds, clean hotel, great...

Liked: We were in the area for a funeral and this location worked well for us prior to being in Marion, IN. Surprised to get eclipse glasses and a eclipse brochure.
Disliked: We were extremely surprised by the price increases due to the hotels and area being in the path of totality for the eclipse.

Overall, it was a bed...

Liked: The location was good and there are lots of options for food nearby. The pet room was right off the door and had easy access to take our dog outside.
Disliked: There was a garbage wine bottle left in our room. The covers were not very warm on our beds, and I asked for some extra blankets and was given one thin blanket. The accommodations certainly didn't meet the price point for the stay... granted it was surge priced for the eclipse weekend.

Disliked: My free room upgrade was not honored and left an item in the room upon checkout and apparently they did not see the item.

Disliked: crack in shower tiles, chairs peeling in breakfast area, toilet water ran

Liked: the place was as clean as a whistle. and the staff was very friendly. the breakfast was good. restaurants all close by. very enjoyable stay.
Disliked: the only thing i wish was the breakfast opened earlier on saturday. it didn't open til 7 am and we were well on our way and spend more money for that for the family.

Liked: Location, stores/restaurants in close proximity, close to expressway.
Disliked: The prices for a pet have changed and that is not specified on Booking.com app nor on the Best Western website. The receptionist even told me that the price change was not publicized but they had the price behind the counter. When I asked to see the document she wouldn’t let me see it. Booking.com says the pet fee is $30 per night. The hotel told me it’s $40 per night for dogs 35lbs and under. It’s $80 per night for dogs over 35lbs. We have stayed their multiple times before and no one has ever shared that information. I feel this was just a way to get over as I saw no documentation to support what they were saying. I also had to ask for a room change because I reserved a king room with a sofa bed. They tried to give me a king room with a chair. Lastly the bathroom had no access to use the shower. There was no lever to transfer the water from the faucet head to the shower head to turn the shower on.
