Best Western Downtown Phoenix

NBA basketball excellent; Best Western motel very close to basketball and their overall service was very good.

We attended a concert at US Airways Center and decided to stay in town that night. The hotel was clean and comfortable. They said it is walking distance to US Airways Center, but when it is 100 plus degrees, the walk can be a little long! We called the front desk and had a van take us to US Airways for only $5!! It worked out perfect.

Liked: Good quality for the price.
Disliked: None.

This is a great, reasonably priced hotel for a business stay in downtown Phoenix. Close to good restaurants, right at the edge of downtown. I felt safe walking in the area. The staff was very friendly and really went out of its way to help. Quiet and very clean. I will stay here again!

Liked: Quiet, clean and staff was fabulous.
Disliked: Didn't like the door keys - I kept getting locked out.

Always have an enjoyable stay

Liked: We originally chose this hotel because of its close proximity to Chase Field, and stay there 5 or 6 times a year. We always enjoy the free breakfasts, friendly staff and clean rooms.
Disliked: There is a parking fee of $18 per night, but that's not unusual for hotels in the downtown Phoenix area.

Liked: We were looking for an hotel in Downtown Phoenix for the last night before catching a flight back home and this hotel ended up being exactly what we needed. Not looking for anything very fancy but still a clean room, a comfortable bed and a nice breakfast for a very fair price and the BWDP was all that and more.
Disliked: When we arrived there was a little confusion about the booking but everything was taken care by the front desk and then by the manager and we managed to get the agreed refund so nothing bad to say about the people that work here.

Liked: the breakfast was OK but limited in choice, I did like the easy access to downtown when walking
Disliked: I found the attitude of one or two on Reception annoying I hoped to book a pedicab tour ofdowntown as I had only one day in Phoenix, but he forgot to pass on the request. When I spokelater at the desk you would think it was me was the problem not the incompetence of theircolleague. It was nearly midday before the pedicab showed.
