Liked: Easy off easy on to the interstate
Disliked: There was strong odor of someone smoking pot throughout our stay. So bad that it came in through the vent system in our room and we had our grandchild with us.

Standard motel-like multistory with gym...

Liked: We were on a quick stopover tourist visit to SA and randomly chose the motel-style hotel but we found that we could easily walk to the river and into the heart of town - which we did on St. Patrick's Day (to our surprise) by the unique river and Alamo locations. So our location in an otherwise dreary commercial zone turned out OK as we could and did walk/jog into town. We also happened to find the national headquarters of the big Texas HEB supermarket chain, and the flagship store for our shopping. We really liked the breakfast served, by the way, pretty standard waffle machine and ham and eggs served, but fresh and hearty.
Disliked: The neighborhood did not feel entirely safe after dark.
