Disliked: We should have been pre warned of a party of 50 plus French students …spoilt our stay. Had to change rooms having paid for an upgrade the only room available was diabolical…no shower, no hot water. No other room available to change to. Students were trying to enter into our room through joining door.

Disliked: -Our room was right next to the roof outside our window with the air conditioning and was quite noisy -Also the air conditioning in the room was smelly and very noisy so we didn’t use it-The place could be so much better if it got updated and bought into modern times

Was okay for what I...

Liked: The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good get a good selection of to choose from. The restaurant on site is tremendous had better food there than I did out at many different restaurants in Boston. So would recommend for sure.
Disliked: The rooms are in need of a bit of work and a good deep clean. The rooms are a bit too hot and cannot open windows, there is air conditioning albeit it is very noisy so can’t have on through the night. The fridge in the room is also very noisy and woke me up a few times during my stay.

Value for money is ok.

Disliked: Breakfast,same 5 articles every morning.Windows are not opening, no fresh air at all..

Comfortable value for money

Liked: Good location. Basic comfortable rooms. Breakfast was ok. Great to have 24hr access to teas and coffee. Adams pub was great, good food and excellent staff, especially Al
Disliked: Even though we had to sign a no smoking policy on checkin, on our floor (2nd) there was a constant and overpowering smell of weed coming from the next room. Could smell it in the bathroom and closet, especially at night or first thing in the morning. I did bring it to receptionists attention mid way through our stay but was told there was little that could be done. Really the only negative of our stay

Liked: I like that there are continental breakfast and some gluten-free options
Disliked: There was a poor clean of the common areas, such as the hallway floor, and a bad smell in the lobby or entrance.
