The Spotlight on Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel

Charming Hyde Park Stay with Classic London Vibes

A traditional London hotel with Victorian character, Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel is tucked away in the tree-lined streets near Hyde Park. Just minutes from the Bayswater and Queensway Underground stations, it offers easy access to London’s biggest live music venues. With its elegant façade, cozy interiors, and welcoming service, this hotel is a great home base for concert-goers exploring the city by day and rocking out by night.

Why Concert-goers love it

If you're in town for a show, you'll appreciate the hotel's central location and excellent transport links. It’s a short Tube ride to iconic venues like the O2 Arena, Royal Albert Hall, and Eventim Apollo. The 24-hour front desk is ideal for late-night returns, and the neighborhood stays relatively quiet after hours—perfect for post-show wind-downs. Late 12:00 checkout means you can sleep in after a night of music.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central base with easy access to nightlife and venues
  • Solo travelers seeing a must-see gig
  • Couples combining a romantic weekend with live music
  • Fans who prefer a quieter, more traditional hotel vibe post-concert
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want comfort without overspending

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t have a full restaurant, there are plenty of eateries within walking distance, including late-night spots and international cuisine. Start the day with a continental breakfast served at the hotel—ideal after a long night. The area’s dining scene is diverse, with options ranging from quick bites to sit-down meals.

Nightlife Options

You're just minutes from the buzzing bars and pubs of Notting Hill and Soho. While the hotel itself is more laid-back, the nearby area offers everything from live music bars to classic London pubs. Looking for something low-key? The surrounding neighborhood has cozy cafes and wine bars perfect for pre-show drinks.

What People Say

Guests love the location, often mentioning how close it is to the Tube and the ease of getting to major sights and venues. Reviewers also highlight the friendly staff and the classic London feel of the building. Many mention it’s a great value for the area, especially if you’re just looking for a clean, comfortable place to crash.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that the rooms can be on the smaller side and the décor a bit dated. It’s an older building, so sound insulation isn’t perfect—though the neighborhood is generally quiet at night. If you're picky about ultra-modern spaces, this hotel leans more heritage than high-tech.

The Bottom Line

With its unbeatable location near Hyde Park and London’s top music venues, Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel offers classic charm and comfort for concert-goers who want to stay connected to the city’s vibrant scene without the late-night chaos.

A great homebase, in a...

Liked: The room was cozy, nice and very well kept, with towels changed daily and the room/bathroom properly cleaned. Everything worked correctly with no complaints on our part. The hotel's staff is nice and the reception desk is always properly manned.Location is simply amazing, with Baywater station literally down the block and Queensway just a short walk away.
Disliked: The centralized heater in the bathroom made it incredibly hot. This isn't really something I feel reasonable to complain about, since it's London and usually a heated bathroom would be a plus. We were simply there in an exceptionally hot week.Breakfast is in Malaysian restaurant, with many options for ethnic cuisine but few continental alternatives. Being an ethnic restaurant, the smell is also pretty strong. I would recommend not getting a breakfast package if you're not used to that or don't appreciate it. I didn't really mind it but it was a bit too much for my partner -- there were plenty of people enjoying it.

Loved the hotel would definitely...

Liked: The room more than spacious than most twin rooms. We were very grateful for the air con !! Very clean and welcoming. Ideal location for Hyde Park. Easily accessible by public transport. We were able to get wherever we wanted to be very easily. Had a fantastic weekend.

Quite good. Near to train....

Liked: The food at the restaurant is delicious, featuring a Malaysian menu.
Disliked: I made the booking based on the room facilities that were advertised. However, the room provided (at the first place), did not have any of those facilities and had no air conditioning—only a fan. Since it is currently summer, the room is indeed very hot. The front desk guy simply said, just open the window. how sad. The room was also very small. After lodging a complaint, I had to wait quite a long time to be moved to a new room, but the facilities still did not match what I paid for. The air conditioning in the new room is in very poor condition and full of dust. Hotel lift was also old and narrow.

Be Aware

Liked: Location not too bad for access to Hyde Park which was the only reason we booked this hotel.
Disliked: Very basic hotel. Shower pressure was almost non existent. The lift only took two people and that's it. If you had a large case forget it. Then don't expect to be able to use it at peak times! But, what really boils my blood is them taking security money from guests at check in and then keep a hold of it long after you check out. I'm still waiting on being refunded £50. There is no justification for this and it is not advertised or known at the time of booking.

Liked: The beds were comfy
Disliked: It was tiny, the bathroom was so small.
