Hotel needs improvement for the...

Liked: The breakfast was good and the staff at the kitchen were also nice and accommodating. The hotel is also closely located near Paddington station and also other bus stops. We were also able to check in earlier so no need to leave our luggage at the reception area.
Disliked: Ventilation in the room is not good, eventhough our room has a balcony. We were expecting toiletries as mentioned as part of the room facilities, but we only had one toiletry (body soap/gel), and that's it. Not even shampoo or conditioner or the other regular toiletries that other hotel has. They don't even have hand towel in the bathroom, so we just asked for extra towel. We did not get a welcoming feeling from the receptionist when we checked in as well. Although, in other days, the other receptionists are friendlier.

Would stay there again.

Liked: Very handy location close to Paddington station . Friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: I didn’t like the rumbling of the building as the underground trains passed. I wasn’t aware of this before I got there.

Good value for money.

Liked: Room was clean and tidy and everything worked.
Disliked: A fire alarm with a flashing red light was annoying overnight.

Liked: It offered a cheap night's stay, and was at a decent location.
Disliked: It was not very comfortable and was very noisy. The room was also very small. However, not complaining too much as it was cheap.

Liked: Kind staff, great breakfast, it's close to the public transports and Hyde Park. I always stay here, when I'm in London.
Disliked: It was a bit chilly in this room (end of March), the heating didn't work that much or all the time, but it was ok.

Pleasant

Liked: The location is really good!! It is opposite Paddington Station. On route for Hop on Hop and walking distance from London centre and Hyde Park. Really enjoyed the stay.
Disliked: The hotel foyer stairs and carpets is a bit unclean. The rest of hotel stay and rooms were very good. Breakfast was great, good value for money.
