The location is excellent for access to both the De Montfort Hall and into city centre on foot. The bed was very comfortable and had great feather (or similar) pillows. The room had everything we needed except one towel, but reception provided us with another upon request. The hotel restaurant offers a reasonable menu and there are plenty of places to eat nearby if you are looking for a less expensive alternative.

Liked: The location; parking and very pleasant staff. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Our room looked a little tired and in need of a refresh. We only had one set of towels to share between two of us.

Liked: The room service was on time and the food was good.
Disliked: As a disabled person, I could not get an accessible room even though I mentioned it on the booking. To get to my room I had to crawl up a few steps with my wife having to carry my scooter. Part of the corridor to my room was unlit.

Disliked: Chaos at breakfast, no tables! Ran out of food, had to wait, not good! Organisation needed, you must know how many people are staying, therefore don’t say breakfast is between this and that but make slots so it runs smoother.

Comfortable and quiet; well appointed...

Liked: Central but quiet location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well appointed large bedroom and bathroom - all you could ask for except a mini-bar.
Disliked: Some of the furniture and fittings are dated and did not live up to the excellence of the rest of the decor. Room numbering quirky - we were on the ground floor, yet our room number started with a ‘4’. Difficult when describing to others in our party.
