Why Concert-goers love it

The Bedford Hotel is just a 15-minute walk from Euston Station and near multiple Tube stops, making it easy to reach London’s major concert venues in minutes. The 24-hour front desk is perfect for late-night returns, and the quiet garden setting means you can wind down peacefully after the encore. With buzzing spots in nearby Soho and Covent Garden, you’re never far from the afterparty. Enjoy classic pubs and modern cocktail lounges just a short walk or Tube ride away. While the hotel itself is more of a chill zone, its location puts you in the heart of London nightlife.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and the hotel’s central location. Many reviewers highlight the peaceful garden as a welcome surprise in busy London and appreciate the easy access to public transport for getting to shows.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention the rooms are a bit dated in style, and a few note that insulation could be better in certain rooms. But overall, reviews are positive, especially for short city stays around events.

The Bottom Line

With a prime location and peaceful vibe, the Bedford Hotel is a solid pick for concert-goers wanting comfort, convenience, and calm after the crowd.

A really nice stay :)

Liked: The staff are extremely nice and professional, super friendly to talk to and helpful. 24/7 reception. The location is great, a nice comfortable stroll from The British Museum, The Trafalgar square, Soho, etc. Big Ben is like 15 min away on foot. There are grocery stores in the area working till 10/11 pm, even a small family owned store that's open 24/7. A good, not too expensive Uyghur restaurant is right across the street. There's a coffee shop with great reviews nearby, but sadly I didn't manage to visit. It's a good price for the location.Everything was clean. They have daily housekeeping if needed. The bed and the pillows were really comfortable. The complimentary chocolate bar and the biscuit (?) were absolutely delicious.
Disliked: The bathroom (both sink and tub faucet) had the older style faucet handles (ones you turn) and not the modern taps that you can just lift and tap down with your hand. It's not a bad thing, but it is a nuisance when you constantly have to turn it left and right to get water. I'm typically a person that runs water more often for shorter periods so that's why this has been a bit of a bother. An upgrade would be nice. Also, the shower hose is attached to the shower rail which makes it limited how much you can manoeuver the hose and makes showering more complex than needed. I honestly don't understand why it can't be detached. :/Air conditioning would be nice. The room has a fan, but since it's June/July it was quite hot inside and the fan only helps a bit.I still recommend it, especially if you're staying for cca 5 days and want a fairly good location.

Fantastic place to stay with...

Liked: Location good. Just a short walk from Russel Square tube. Theatre district, Covent Garden and China town all within a mile or so and a level walk.Breakfast fantastic with a great choice of hot and cold. Peach tea was delicious.Staff helpful and friendly. Remarkably quiet for a city hotel.
Disliked: It was very warm in the room and although a fan was provided air conditioning would have been even better.
