Superb

Liked: Can't fault the staff. Super approachable and friendly. Breakfast was really good. Our evening meal was tasty and well presented. Our room was clean and comfortable but would benefit from some upgrading. We would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect for us as a stop off travelling from Sunderland to Frome in Somerset. 45 minutes from Liverpool's main tourist attractions area.
Disliked: Shower pressure was very low in our room. Took 3 times longer to shower.

Stay was lovely helpful staff...

Liked: Good clean comfy room and bathroom breakfast was really good, staff were nice helpful, what more can you ask especially for the price 🙏
Disliked: Bar staff served an alcoholic drink instead of a non alcoholic drink by mistake but it's easy mistake to make bottles are very alike no harm done

Shabby but ok stopover

Liked: Ample free parking, location for visiting family, friendly staff. Decent breakfast.All the reviews are fairly accurate in so far as the hotel needs a total refurbishment but the cleaning staff seem to do an exceptional job of trying to maintain the rooms as clean as possible despite everything being shabby. Lovely lady at reception,.the rooms are really good size and the bed is big and comfortable and decent pillows.
Disliked: We knew what we were getting after reading the reviews, so yes, it is run down but has so much potential.For one night stop over, it ticked all the boxes as we needed to be in Mold.
