Liked: This hotel was clean and quiet our room backed on to the road on the ground floor so had to keep curtains closed for privacy

Liked: Location was terrific. Room was a good size. We had a very enjoyable dinner at the restaurant on site.

Liked: It was a great property but the carpets were filthy and the coffee machine had been left from the previous customer
Disliked: A lift going up to the Penthouse suite would have been better

Liked: Nice pleasant hotel, if not inspiring or beautiful. The rooms are a bit dated and basic. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. Location is nice -- right on the beach, and convenient to everything in Hokitika.

Disliked: Walls are quite thin so you can hear what people in adjacent room are saying.
