Baymont by Wyndham Downtown Detroit

Room was cheap $88 with tax for a Saturday night. It was the only thing available that wasn't $330 a night. Get what you pay for I guess. Hotel security was very nice - recommended a good pizza store late night. Was frisked and metal detected when we went to the IHOP at 3am. It did it's job for a place to sleep, but would not go back.

Liked: King bed was comfortable but pillows were garbage.
Disliked: Get what you pay for. Room was not very clean. Sheets were clean. Pillows were absolutely terrible. Carpets were dirty. Not very much space in the room. Feels pretty ghetto.

Liked: Check in lady very curious and helpful
Disliked: No

Disliked: It was a murder a couple doors down

Disliked: We didn't even stay the night. We checked in and left to find a safer cleaner hotel. I felt the pictures were misleading and didn't show thats its actually located behind other buildings on the Main Street.

Disliked: Yes, the fact that it's $---a night and there's not even a microwave or refrigerator I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff is very unfriendly

Disliked: Everything. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the staff. The rooms were disgusting, the halls smelled of urine, cigarettes, weed and just dirty smells. No fridge or microwave ANYWHERE in the building. Guests running halls all night just awful

Disliked: This hotel is so outdated. Carpet were badly soiled, people smoking marijuana in the rooms that made the room smell. Doors had cracks big enough to see through, bathroom toilet was loose and falling over, shower had no pressure, people were loud all night
