Liked: I liked the decor in the rooms and the bathroom was decorated beautifully
Disliked: I didn’t like the carpet throughout the downstairs I thought that needed an upgrade perhaps and also the bath water (hot tap) was really sluggish so opted for a shower instead (room 4).

Liked: Not feeling too well on day of departure and I was not charged full price for breakfast because I asked if I could only have tea and toast. All staff very friendly and helpful. Well stocked fridge every day and complimentary toiletries if requested. Nice to have a safe, ironing board and iron, and hairdryer all provided as we had travelled a long distance to attend a wedding in the area. Wifi connected automatically when you get your room, so very easy to access.
Disliked: The wildflower garden is absolutely atrocious, and spoils the look of the otherwise immaculately trimmed hedges and flower borders. It is not in keeping with the rest of the hotel and far too much of it, (and in the forefront of the building) looking like a wilderness of unkept spare piece of land. Hardly the garden view I expected, and obviously not working as I only saw 4 butterflies and 2 birds during my whole stay!! Wild gardens in my opinion are colourful throughout the whole season with lots of different wild flowers you can identify, but this one is just a mass of overgrown weeds. Could also do with some litter bins on the premises especially in the massive car park.
