Liked: Beds comfortable and rooms clean
Disliked: Room wasn't ready at check in, 2.20pm and room was meant to be ready for 2pm. We were there for a wedding and wasn't enough time to get ready with the delays in booking into our room. Staff had very little to say. Weren't welcoming or apologetic. Another couple who's room wasn't ready got offered a free drink and we had to wait until the lady moved things around for approx 20 minutes to ensure we got a room to get ready in. Less than satisfactory service through-out.Room when we eventually got there was extremely small, not much room to move round the bed and bathroom was small too.

Just what I needed to...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Room lovely. Very peaceful location. There was a wedding going on with a disco but the music couldn’t be heard from the bedrooms. The garden was lovely and in nice weather it was perfect for a drink outside in the evening
Disliked: Would have liked a bath as well as a shower but I will know to request a room with a bath next time - error on my part

Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was lovely. The faculties was amazing just an nice relaxing atmosphere.

Liked: It was clean, the staff were very friendly and kind. The food was very good and it was relaxing.
Disliked: I paid for rose petals on the bed , but they were not on the bed when we walked in the room! I was given a refund but it had spoilt things for me as it was a romantic night away. We don't get much chance to do things like that and I wanted to make it special.

Fantastic stay for my daughters...

Liked: Customer service was brilliant they couldnt do enough. We had a friendly welcome at reception, and staff at the Walled Garden restaurant were very attentive and polite !! It really makes your stay when the staff look after you and seem to enjoy doing their job nothing was too much hassle for them. Our bedroom was lovely clean and big, we all had a brilliant night sleep. Clean bathroom and facilities kettle hairdryer iron iron board . Robes and towels. Tea coffee biscuits. Espresso machine in the room., the food in the restaurant was gorgeous and not too overpriced either. I would definitely recommend this hotel , we all said we were going to visit again !
Disliked: The only thing that I can pick at, is we had a drink in the sun when we first got there in the lovely garden (trying to make the last of the sunshine before it disappeared for the day) and a waiter or manager came over to tell us that there for an event on at 4pm and he was giving us a heads up (basically asking us to move . But in my eyes we had paid too to use the whole hotel and where we enjoying the garden? Obviously, nothing the staff member could of done he was very polite about it.
