We just loved it. perfect...

Liked: Wonderfully situated with views to the massive Banyan tree, the garden (with the sea in the background, you can see the surf!) and the pool which is long enough for a serious workout. Very nice cottage style rooms, thoughtfully decorated, ours had a little porch to enjoy the cooler evening outside. Great location for trips to the crater and equally to the beaches. And a small artsy village (Makawao) with decent food options in a k distance. The Italian restaurant (Casanova…) was a very positive surprise! Nice plates, decent pizza. Felt like home in Italy.

Liked: The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and a wonderful place to relax. The owner was responsive to any needs we had, but also non-intrusive in any way. The breakfast available early in the morning, delivered to our porch and sufficient to start our day.

A little gem!

Liked: I can't express how much I enjoyed my stay with Heleina. I will definitely come back if I am in the area.

Liked: We did not had any problems finding the entrance but we were a bit lost once we arrived. But very quickly the owner showed up and from that point we just had a lovely experience! A very nice and kept cottage, we had a kitchen annex with everything you need, two king sized beds, a bathroom. Everything kept clean. Breakfast that helped us to get going throughout the day, and we could enjoy outside looking on a beautiful surroundings of trees, flowers ect. kept tidy by the owner. There was no problem even when we asked once to get the breakfast at a later our since we were out for the sunrise at Haleakala. I should not forget the evenings, because the property is placed a bit far from everything, this creates some beautiful stargazing moments, and we had every evening of our stay. We would love to comeback!One thing, you do need a CAR, to comfortably go to dinner or just about anywhere, when thinking about reserving this piece of heaven.
