Superb

Liked: I like the staff, they are really nice and very helpful. It was perfect, at least for me that there was fresh coffee for whole day, clean filtered water. They arranged every evening something, from BBQ, free pizza evening, free drinks in the evening. So it was very nice.Also must say about Stephen our tour guide, he arranged very good tours for really good money, it is more for the walking people, but he is a great guy and knows a lot about surrounding. I recommend there to stay for anyone, also family friendly!
Disliked: There is nothing to critisise, good service for good price.

Love this place

Liked: Walking distance to food food and convenience stores was awesome. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The tiki garden in the back is very tranquil with small breakfast served. Community area looked fun but did not get a chance to use them during our one night stay. Overall really loved this place!
Disliked: The units closest to the street will get alot of street noise from traffic and the unhomed community, but this is LA and it's normal.

Good place to stay

Liked: The bungalow was very self contained and safe. If you have a car there is parking off the street. The breakfast and social areas are great. Plus the hostel has several social events during the week, BBQ and whatnot.
Disliked: The dorm mates I have left towels all over the bathroom.

Exceptional

Liked: One of the staff, Kiki, is an absolute legend. Guy knows how to party and throws one every 2nd day. Definitely worth going every time and great value for money for how much we drank. $15 for BBQ chicken and drinks till they ran out.Nice free breakfast facilities.
Disliked: Beds are squeaky, quite a few homeless nearby
