Liked: Where to start?? The location 10/10, the owners 10/10, the accomodation 10/10, the cleanliness 10/10, the comfort of the bed 10/10, the peace and quiet 10/10, the breakfast 10/10, the welcome and the atmosphere 10/10, the views 10/10. In future we will be willing to travel at least an hour further to stay here over anywhere else. All this and for a price so much less than anywhere else too !!
Disliked: Even if I was as critical as possible then I still couldn't find anything to dislike here.

Liked: Room was sad and depressing Breakfast was ok but had to wait even though you book a time Bed was awful advertised as a king but was two singles pushed together making that really hard ridge down the centre

Liked: Excellent breakfast, superb hosts, wonderful accommodation. Breakfast/dining area was intimate with a wonderful view of the pasture with grazing horses. We are a family of varying dietary requirements: gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and ‘eats anything’. Our hosts Rob and Liz made sure we had all we needed to start the day. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fresh (eggs freshly laid ), and the fruit salad made with freshly cut strawberries, grapes and melon was delicious. The presentation of all our meals, each and every morning, was exceptional. Always willing to have a chat about how you doing and what you have done, or planning to do. By the second day, they were able to address us by our names, which is such a rare thing. It made you feel special and very welcomed as a guest. Clean, spacious and an extremely comfortable room, with all the amenities needed for a great stay.The views from the room were of the fields around us, and in the evening, the colours of the sunset were impressive. Great base to travel around Bridgend to see the fantastic sights and there are many of them.Warm, friendly and welcoming family run guest house where they go out of their way to know you as a guest.
Disliked: Road surface was a little bumpy, on the drive up to the farm.

Liked: We loved our stay at Ballas Farm. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with a comfy bed and a great shower. We had a warm welcome on arrival.Excellent bfast and very friendly owners!

Liked: Lovely and clean, room was excellent and comfortable and the free wifi was as a bonus. The breakfast was clearly made with passion and was excellent! Thank you for having us, we will be more than happy to stay again when we are working in the area.
