Stayed overnight for our anniversary....

Liked: Location and ambiance.
Disliked: Nothing

Very pleasant.

Liked: Staff was exceptional, friendly & helpful.
Disliked: We miss having a restaurant downstairs, that attracted us to come back & then found out there was no longer a restaurant. There are plenty of good restaurants to visit, but if wine tasting that day, the convenience of not driving and having an award winning restaurant at our fingertips made paying the high price of staying at the Ballard Inn worth it.

I would try it one...

Liked: The lounging area was very comfortable. There were games and comfortable sofas and chairs.They also had a beautiful fireplace in the lounge.
Disliked: The beds sank in the middle. I had a quiche which was undercooked. The quiche was runny and the dough was soft.

Have been at property over...

Liked: Not flexible in ordering, or not capable to do any variation
Disliked: Very limited staff. Removed central television. Same mediocre wine served at wine hour. ( this is wine country)
