Bahia Resort Hotel

Great location,

Liked: Good location. Restaurant was good. Gift shop was good. Room service was good.
Disliked: Asked for handicap room - got one but it was small and dated. We came for our son’s wedding and encouraged 4 others of our friends to stay at the hotel. We stayed 4 nights and they stayed 2-4 nights. One friend had a room similar to ours but the other three received superior rooms with one upgraded to a suite. Our check-in process was cursory rather than welcoming. It was disappointing

I would choose Bahia for...

Liked: Beach abutting property; food truck with coffees and breakfast items; dining inside or outside with fire pits at tables; bar with knowledgeable bartender; easy check in/out.
Disliked: Paper thin room walls close to driveway and check in. Loud arrivals.

Lovely beachfront location

Liked: Amazing being right on the beach, kids loved it. Nice big room, most staff very friendly.

Peaceful, perfect location

Liked: This resort was a great find in San Diego….we were able to base ourselves out of here, enjoy the amenities and be close to everything to do in San Diego
Disliked: There was some construction ongoing to prepare for the busy season however it didn’t impact on our stay or visit at all
