We've stayed here before and...

Liked: Excellent place to stay 1.5 miles from my parents house. Clean, tidy and quiet with great views
Disliked: Sausages taste a bit odd (too much sage I think)

Superb

Liked: Everything, glad I booked a room with a balcony as being on the higher level made all the difference to my stay. The view and experience just wouldn’t have been the same on the lower floors. Watching the sunset on the balcony was beautiful. Lovely touches with the fridge, porridge, pastries & wine glasses.
Disliked: Only mirror in the bathroom, nothing in the main room. Needs a mirror near the hairdryer, plug sockets. Luckily I had my own otherwise would have struggled doing my hair.

Pleasant location and staff but...

Liked: room available on arrival. Pleasant staff. Enjoyed the extended grounds.
Disliked: I stayed in a lakeside room. There was a warning of Very Hot Water. That was an understatement. The shower controls were poorly labelled and I was scalded by mistaking the temperature knob for the on/off knob. I was annoyed by having to share the eating area with dogs.The Preview describes me as Michael. I am, and was booked in as, Julia Clements. My husband Michael died 6 months ago. We stayed at Bagden Hall together many times. This is insensitive and unacceptable.
