Overall a great stay !...

Liked: Excellent facilities and very well situated ! Staff all very friendly ! We didn’t use the pool on this occasion but it was also very well maintained and some were enjoying themselves, a nice touch

Lovely main areas and staff...

Liked: Lovely bar, Lounge and outdoor area/marquee
Disliked: Room was basic, old and dated, window fell off in hand. Carpet worn and a bit sticky

Very comfortable stay, amazing staff

Liked: The hotel is in a good location for travelling into the city (we stayed for work). But is far enough out to enjoy some peace and quiet. There was no noise at night. The hotel garden also backs into fields so has a nice view. We ate some of the tapas kind of plates in the restaurant and were impressed by the quality, the meat is from a local butcher. All the staff at the hotel were really friendly, helpful and accommodating, excellent customer service.
Disliked: A little tired in some of the rooms but it’s clear they have done a lot of refurbishment and are continuing to update the hotel. Our bathroom was clearly brand new and very nice. Unfortunately the pool was being refurbished also at the time of our stay. There was no mention of this on booking.com or on the website.
