Superb

Liked: Lovely old pub with rooms above. Staff are really friendly, perfect location right in town. The room was not ready for check-in , but the staff looked after us and the room was spotless once it was ready
Disliked: Nothing, love this place.

Good value for a stopover...

Liked: The location is great. The bedding and bathroom were clean. Staff were friendly. Cheap.
Disliked: Serious investment is needed to bring this up to a good standard and I realise this is difficult in the current market. Carpets need serious attention or replacing. It is quite noisy though most noise stopped by 11pm. No food at any time of day but there are lots of options locally. Mattress lumpy but I actually slept pretty well. Rooms not serviced but we were given extra tea & coffee when we asked.

Fine for a short stay...

Liked: Ok for a budget priced accommodation. Very nice Nepalese restaurant a couple of minutes walk away.
Disliked: No soap or shampoo in bathroom. Had to ask for teabags/milk. No restaurant open, was told kitchen was closed
