Liked: The location is brilliant, a great little hotel nice and clean. Friendly staff, very welcoming.
Disliked: The room was really small for a family of 3, but we managed to enjoy our 2 days.

Avoid this hotel at all...

Liked: There wasn’t anything that I like my stay at this hotel was horrific.
Disliked: There wasn’t much I liked at all, from when I arrived on the Friday, I had to struggle with a huge suitcase and a weekend bag up 5 flights of stairs due to there not being a suitcase, I wasn’t even offered any help, then the furniture was all outdated, the bed/bedroom itself stunk of wee/mould, there was stains all over the carpet also, I wanted to have a coffee that was provided in the room and when opening the milk I noticed it was gone off, the cup were not cleaned as there was big coffee stains that were in both cups aswell as the spoons, I also booked for 2 people and when my partner arrived the next day the receptionist said he wasn’t allowed up stairs and he had to stay in the reception area it wasn’t until I had said to her that I’ve in fact booked for 2 people she finally let him up, I would never stay here again even if I was paid to.

Disliked: The breakfast area was too small and they didn’t have all the items for a cooked breakfast. The lady at reception wasn’t informed about parking for guests.

Disliked: I was in the basement so I could hear the underground and also the staff when they were getting breakfast ready in the morning.Room very very small

Liked: Excellent position within a very smart area. Excellent breakfast with a really lovely staff. In particularly the lady who served the breakfast.Very comfortable bed and good shower.
Disliked: Room was very small. And bed could only be got into from one side. The TV wasn’t working. The aerial had been yanked out and wrapped around the stand. (So the hotel knew it was a problem). I managed to fiddle with it and then it worked. The stand kept swinging away from the view so had to be jammed into position with a piece of card.The underground trains were very loud and the vibrations pretty bad. Items in the room vibrated.The room was very ‘tired’ and needs a makeover.The reception staff both on arrival and when we left were not communicative. For example we weren’t asked if we had had a good stay.
