Disliked: Oceanfront Stay Ruined by Loud PartyMy goal was to relax by the ocean, enjoy the fresh air, and soak in some quiet, but my experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing. From 4 PM to 11 PM, there was a noisy party directly in front of my "deluxe" room, complete with loud music and shouting.The hotel provided absolutely no prior warning about such events, which I consider to be extremely disrespectful to its guests. This situation completely ruined my stay, which was supposed to be peaceful and relaxing.I believe the price of staying at this hotel is clearly inflated, especially given this level of service and the complete lack of concern for guest comfort. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Gorgeous, clean and beach accessible...
Liked: Everything from check in to check out was phenomenal. Maria checked us in and she was so friendly and welcoming. There was a little misunderstanding with the booking (not Avila Lighthouse's fault) and she gave us a lovely bottle of wine to make up for it. We were also offered beach chairs and boogie boards if desired. The chairs actually came in handy on the beach, which is literally across the street. The room was large and super clean. Loved our balcony with a view of the ocean. If you can do it, pay the extra to get the ocean view. It is worth it. The continental breakfast was fresh and had a great selection of items. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and a decent size. The staff at breakfast and all over the property were cheerful and helpful. The hotel is right on the main strip, so plenty of shops and restaurants are walking distance. We can't wait to come back!

Disliked: 210 suits , for 700$ a night we got - AC was malfunctioning and not cooling the room. Breakfast is bad, options are poor. Lots of small issues - broken water dispenser at the lobby, broken entry gates, dirty pool (try putting on a diving mask or glasses and take a look at what is floating there). The area around the hotel is noisy in general and dirty. The beach is dirty. I don't think I will ever stay at this place.
