Liked: The location was wonderful. Everything was right there within walking distance the perks for breakfast lunch, and apple pie at night and ice cream was tremendous the staff. They were courteous and friendly.

Liked: Charming boutique hotel on a quiet street just 2 short blocks to the beach and Front St., the Avila “strip”. Lovely Spanish/Mexican decor throughout with little touches here and there that stay consistent with the decor. Spacious rooms with a full kitchen but with settings for only two. Our room had a balcony, gas fireplace, and a spa bathtub. A/C too. The best part: they feed you all day long, all included. Delish REAL croissants and fruit for breakfast, beer with chips and salsa at noon, wine and small plates at happy hour (enough to skip dinner), and three kinds of pie in the evening from 8:00 to 9:00. Don’t miss the ollalieberry pie, a central coast speciality.
Disliked: My only minor gotcha is the bed. Queen size only and a little soft.
