Definitely would return to this place and would recommend the hotel to anyone. Beds were really comfortable, excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious, very fresh and nothing too much trouble for the staff. Looking forward to staying there again.

Good location. Excellent service. Extremely...

Liked: We did not book a for the breakfast as we had previous arrangements with family.Although I will say on our second morning we hadn't booked to go put for breakfast until a little later in the day so I asked the owner if he could sort out a bit of toast for my partner and I. He gladly knocked up some for us and when I offered to pay for it he wouldn't accept any payment.
Disliked: I have no comments on this as I had a really good experience all round.

Unacceptably noisy

Liked: The location
Disliked: NOISY. Could hear everything through thin walls, not just next door but along the corridor. Also floors made a noise in the corridor and the fire door made a noise every time someone went through it. We genuinely did not sleep.

Superb

Liked: The owner is a lovely guy, room freshly decorated and had everything we needed. Breakfast provided, continental and we had the cooked option which was lovely and freshly cooked. We were visiting Knockhill but equally placed for the rest of Fife or Edinburgh. Would book again when visiting the area

Cute older small hotel

Liked: Cute old building off a main road so quite peaceful. Close enough to Edinburgh airport do that we had an easy drive the next morning.Comfortable bed
Disliked: Tiny bathroom with just a small bottle of shower gel per person (no shampoo or conditioner). A bit noisy with some other guests talking loudly in the hallway (not the hotel’s fault). A bit far from anywhere to eat although Brent (the manager) suggested the Harvester up the road (15 minute walk) which was fine.
