Serene, cozy and a good...

Liked: Serene environment with a homely feel. The breakfast was very good with a variety of goods to choose from and equally filling. They served fresh warm bread, fruits and vegetables in good proportion. Helpful and friendly staff.The room was clean, clean bedding and towels, clean bathroom and good lighting.Though the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, there is a microwave for you to warm up your food in. About 11 minutes bus ride from the Gothenburg central train station around Brunnsparken.For leisure, Ewa and Maude hotel is about 15 minutes walk away from a Minigolf course and the Botanical garden. There is also the National historical museum which is not far from the hotel.
Disliked: There is a self-service mini market with a vending machine - quite newly installed for (snacks, drinks and portioned meals). I did not like that it accepted only app payment ( at least at the time of our visit).

Liked: nice hotel - very beautiful & quiet location

A homely, friendly guest house...

Liked: The house is very homely and is in a lovely neighbourhood full of houses with lots of character. Staff were helpful and breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: The bed was placed against the wall so that the person sleeping on that side of the bed, couldn't get out of bed without disturbing the other person. There was enough space to move the bed to allow movement out of both sides of the bed so I couldn't understand why it had been arranged like this. The bathroom was very small, so the toilet was virtually in the shower. I didn't know, until my last morning (of three) that there was a sauna. If I'd known beforehand, I would have brought a swimming costume. The hotel information was put inside a drawer in the room, which we didn't find until the last day.

Peaceful Stay

Liked: Lovely Hotel in quiet residential area. Plenty of good walks near by. Very welcoming staff and very helpful. Room small but with everything you need for a short stay. Good choice of breakfast. Coffee and pastries available all day.
Disliked: Property was excellent but a little out of town with no restaurants near by. Would stay again though.
