Liked: Location close to the airport.
Disliked: Room smelled strongly of air / carpet freshener. Almost chokingly strong. Opened the window to air it out and realized most of the screen on the window had been cut away. Mattress felt lumpy; on pulling back the sheets, discovered mattress was covered by at least 3 mattress protectors, and one of them was only partially pulled up, creating lumps underneath the sheet. I have no idea how this property has such a high rating on booking.com. Also had an odd sentence on the welcome letter stating not to remove the TV remote because it's not a spy camera (!). I strongly suspect someone is gaming the ratings system. I checked out after one night. Was promised they'd "try to work on" a refund, but I haven't seen a refund yet. This is NOT an 8.6 point property.

Liked: Price and location. Quiet room.
Disliked: Arrived after 8:00 pm. No staff on duty after 8. System set up to retrieve room key after 8. Controls on heat/air cond not working. TV had 3 remote controls but NO instructions on which one to use or how to use. Was able to get TV to turn on but only had option of one channel. TV was too small. Will give the Proprietors an "A" for effort in trying to provide a homey place to stay! Free pizza was served at 6:00 pm. However, no hot breakfast.

Perfect for a quick trip...

Liked: We really enjoyed everything! The location was perfect and it’s a cute hotel. We had a studio apartment style room so it was nice and spacious. It’s the halfway point from our house in Michigan to Gatlinburg Tn. The morning attendant was very kind!
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t particularly like was the bed. It was a little too hard for me. There was no give but other than that it was great.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, comfortable accommodations, pizza night Wednesday, fantastic value $$ will be my go to hotel whenever I come back to visit my favorite zoo. Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens.
