Very good

Just awful- we couldn’t stay...

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: This was just awful. We didn’t stay. Initially staff in tiny poky and dirty reception were unfriendly. No facilities whatsoever in hotel. Carpets in the corridors were completely thread bare and filthy. Rooms were exceptionally small. Asked to leave our small ruck sacks in advance of check in- were charged £5 per bag. This hotel resembles nothing of what it is described/ advertised on booking.com. Upon seeing the room we immediately booked another hotel at significant expense but we couldn’t have stayed at this hotel - the reception staff couldn’t have cared less.

Great location to discover London

Liked: Great location to discover London - 5 mins walk to Paddington Station, easy train/ tube connections, café and bars nearby for breakfast/dinner, area felt safe, friendly staff, price/quality ratio.
Disliked: Initial room was very hot (it was heatwave) and fan was not suficient to cool it down. However staff was prompt in changing it and second room was much better.
