Liked: The pillows were comfortable
Disliked: Beds were like sleeping on box spring. Upkeep of the hotel grounds was lacking (weeds and dirty pool area) and hotel room overall was dirty and moldy.

Liked: The view from our room was amazing and it was right on the beach.
Disliked: Parking is limited

Liked: location on the beach was perfect, Its an older place but well kept. We only stayed (1) night but would not hesitate to stay longer on our next travels. Walking distance to stores, Bars and souvenir shops and Johns pass
Disliked: short stay and did not get to enjoy a lot of time at the Arvilla. it is out dated but the price reflects that.

Could be Better... Could Be...

Liked: The property was clean and quiet, and the pool was well maintained. We had a unit facing the water which made for awesome views. Location wise, it was excellent. On the beach and we were able to walk to both John's Pass and Caddy's Treasure Island.
Disliked: The property is somewhat of a time capsule from the 1960's. It would have been nice to see at least an attempt to address some of the disrepair in and around the units. After arrival we had to ask for some basic supplies that should have already been in our room when we checked in (towels, toilet paper...). It was a challenge to find staff at times as well.
