Artto Hotel

We arrived unexpectedly early but were immediately looked after and taken to a vacant room. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, but we felt the windows, paintwork and decor could do with a freshen up. However, that apart, the room was well equipped and comfortable. We will certainly return next time we're in Glasgow (and perhaps ask for a room away from the street).

Liked: The hotel it's self is lovely staff were pleasant and helpful breakfast was continental and a good range of things ..situated by train station an local amenities ..we stayed through the week so pretty quite on the street not sure what would be like at weekend...rooms enough space an comfortable for what we needed bedding fresh an bathroom clean ..the bar nice an cozy an plenty to choice from
Disliked: The bathroom an stair well could do with an up grade the lift was out of order which was disappointing when on the 3rd floor quite steap so for any older customers this wouldn't be great

Disliked: Absolute filthy I have never stayed any where like it. Broken toilet tiles hanging off the wall mould in bath. Broken window, carpet all frayed, the dirt and dust behind and under the bed. Dirty cups. Absolute filth.Broken lift - we seen an old couple walking up the stairs 3 flights with luggage no help from staff too help them carry the luggage.I just honestly can not get over the state this hotel is in soo run down and the cleaners must have blacked out glasses on when cleaning.

Liked: The location was handy for us Pretty central. Close to the train station and bus to the airport. Restaurants and shops all nearby.
Disliked: The carpet was a bit grubby. Maybe a deep clean would be good. The lift wasn’t going at the time so lugging bags up the stairs wasn’t the best although one of the staff helped us out.
