Artto Hotel

We arrived unexpectedly early but were immediately looked after and taken to a vacant room. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, but we felt the windows, paintwork and decor could do with a freshen up. However, that apart, the room was well equipped and comfortable. We will certainly return next time we're in Glasgow (and perhaps ask for a room away from the street).

Liked: Staff amazingly friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Decor in room needed sprucing up.

Liked: Good location, near to local rail and bus stations.
Disliked: Room had a good few flaws / issues but for somewhere to get your head down after a night out it’s fine.

Don't let the loud singing...

Liked: Location is great! The street seems to be the one with the most karaoke bars in Glasgow, but it got surprisingly quiet after midnight - we had no problem sleeping. The bed was comfortable. Kind staff.
Disliked: Unfortunately the elevator was broke (which we were warned about). The whole building is a little old and worn down, some lights in our room weren't working, but it was all clean so it didn't really matter.

Disliked: It was more expensive for a 1 bed rather than 2 in a twin roomI paid for 1 guest apparently but they charged my friend on checkin £20 despite me already having a more expensive room.Feels like a scam

Right place wrong hotel.

Liked: Towels and linen were clean and the staff were nice. Hotel is situated in the middle of Glasgow by railway station.
Disliked: Bathroom had mold in it the carpet was grimy and a huge extractor fan was noisy all day and night.

Liked: Property was nice on entrance with a nice friendly welcome . The bed was nice and big and comfortable . The room was warm .
Disliked: The room was ok but deep cleaning is needed . The bathroom was very old and in need of some TL C . Rust on the radiator.Black mouldy silicone around the bath and a black mark round the plug hole . Shower curtain was filthy . The Lino up and around the bath panned was a bit smelly giving a damp plastic smell in the bathroom .The breakfast selection was poor and not very well laid out . Orange juice or water that was your choice . The tea was terrible .
