Affordable Comfort Just Steps from King’s Cross

Modern and practical, Arriva Hotel offers a no-fuss stay in the heart of London. Just a short walk from King’s Cross St Pancras, this 2-star hotel is perfect for travelers who want to be close to major transport links and iconic music venues without breaking the bank. With clean, functional rooms, a quiet garden space, and multilingual staff ready to help, it’s a smart base for concert nights and city adventures.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything—Arriva Hotel is just 5 minutes from King’s Cross, which means easy late-night connections after shows. Whether you're heading to gigs near Camden, Islington, or central London, getting there and back is a breeze. The area is relatively quiet at night, so you can count on a peaceful post-concert wind-down. Flexible 2:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM checkout help accommodate travel plans around show schedules.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends who want to stay central on a budget
  • Solo travelers in town for a big gig
  • Couples enjoying a weekend of music and sightseeing
  • Fans looking for quiet downtime after the show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who just need a clean, comfy base

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, you're a short walk from a variety of late-night eateries around King’s Cross and Bloomsbury. From kebabs to cozy cafés, you'll find plenty of options for a bite after the encore. Breakfast is available nearby, and with central London at your doorstep, meals are never far away.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is quiet, you're minutes from some of London’s buzzing nightlife. Catch live music in Camden, sip cocktails in nearby bars, or explore Islington’s pub scene—all within easy reach via bus, Tube, or even on foot. When you're ready to call it a night, Arriva Hotel offers a calm retreat away from the crowds.

What People Say

Guests appreciate the hotel’s excellent location and value for money. Many reviews mention the clean rooms and the helpful multilingual staff at reception. It’s especially popular among travelers who prioritize location and convenience over luxury.

Areas for Improvement

Some rooms are on the smaller side, and the décor is a bit basic—but it’s all part of the budget-friendly charm. There’s no elevator, so travelers with heavy luggage or mobility needs should take note. Still, for a short concert stay, most guests find it more than sufficient.

The Bottom Line

If you’re heading to a London gig and want a clean, affordable place to crash near the action, Arriva Hotel hits all the right notes.

C Griffin, Birmingham, visiting Conway Hall London

The hotel is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of Kings Cross Station, and many different options for eating out. Our room was small but comfortable, with a new ensuite; very clean and quiet, being at the back of the building. I would not hesitate to return to Arriva Hotel.

Convenient stay if you plan...

Liked: Close to St. Pancras and easy to navigate towards. Loved the 24-hours check-in, which is very convenient if you have a late train into St. Pancras. They also offer a free luggage-keeping service when you check-out so you can still explore, plan activities, etc. for the day without having to find another place for luggage. The room itself was also quite spacious for a solo traveller. They also cleaned the rooms daily and brought in new towels, but not at a set time. If you want to sleep in, it's best to put the 'do not clean my room'-sign out on the door in case they come to clean your room at 8 am.
Disliked: Because of the 24-hours check-in, the lights in the halls were on all the time. It made it very difficult for me to fall asleep. It's kind of noisy too as I could hear someone snoring in a different room. Didn't have the best time sleeping there. The bathroom was quite small and the shower had difficulty draining properly sometimes.

Clean room.

Liked: The people at the front desk is very helpful and nice. Room was clean.
Disliked: It’s old looking, very dark room and it looks like besides cleaning they don’t really take care of fixing the room and the constant usage damages.
