Don't stay here unless you're...

Liked: Literally the only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it should be proud of its staff who without exception were all excellent. In particular Ken who checked us in was extremely friendly and professional.
Disliked: Where to start??First of all our room was supposed to be available at 3pm. It was not. In fact it wasn't available until after 5pm which was extremely inconvenient. When we eventually got into our room, I was astonished at how small it was. I've travelled to New York many times, so I'm well aware that hotel rooms there are generally not big, but I've never seen anything like this. It was absolutely tiny! There were 3 of us in the room and we were on a 2 week vacation to the US so had 3 large suitcases with us as well as a couple of smaller bags. There was absolutely nowhere to put anything. There wasn't even enough floor space to open one case, never mind 3 and there was virtually no hanging space (a small rail with about 5 hangers). To compound the annoyance the room had a ridiculously big terrace, space that would have been put to far better use by having a bigger room and a smaller terrace. The bed linen was very shabby and uncomfortable also and there were only 2 usable electricity plug points in the room making the charging of several devices difficult. Aside from the room, on the 4 days we were there, either the bar, the restaurant or the roof terrace were closed due to private functions and on the day the bar was closed, the roof terrace was also closed due to the weather. I have literally never stayed in a hotel where a resident can't get a drink in the bar! I will never stay in this hotel again. What a rip off.

Liked: Great location, staff were amazing, so friendly and always someone at reception to help. Room was spacious and big bed with city view, had such a nice feel to it
Disliked: Not the property’s fault but I recommended ear plugs. Rooms are sound proof but when the trash is being emptied on the streets outside at 4am, if you are a light sleeper it may wake you

Liked: Breakfast was awesome and the service too.
Disliked: Overall are good except the front desk staff. Especially the Black Women. Rude and impolite & impatience when asking for help.
