The Spotlight on Apex Temple Court Hotel

Chic London Hideaway in the Heart of Temple

Modern and stylish, the Apex Temple Court Hotel is tucked away just off Fleet Street in London’s historic Temple district. This 4-star gem blends contemporary design with a peaceful courtyard setting, offering a relaxing base that’s still right in the heart of the action. With sleek rooms, luxury touches like walk-in showers and Nespresso machines, and a location that’s both central and quiet, it’s a smart choice for music lovers visiting the capital.

Why Concert-goers love it

You’re less than a 10-minute walk from Temple Underground Station and just five minutes from City Thameslink and Blackfriars, making it a breeze to get to venues across London. After the show, come back to a quiet, elegant space that feels like a true escape from the crowds. With 24-hour gym access and a late check-out at 12:00, you can keep your routine flexible and your recovery smooth.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a stylish central base
- Solo travelers catching a legendary gig
- Couples turning a concert into a mini getaway
- Fans seeking peace and quiet post-show
- Budget-conscious travelers wanting 4-star comfort without the chaos

Food and Drink Options

Chambers Restaurant delivers modern cuisine in an intimate setting, perfect for a relaxed pre- or post-show dinner. Across the courtyard, the Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas wine bar offers charcuterie platters, small plates, and a top-notch wine list. While 24/7 room service isn’t listed, the hotel’s central location means you’re never far from late-night bites, and breakfast is definitely worth sticking around for.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself offers a more refined atmosphere than a party scene, you’re a short stroll from some of London’s best bars and lounges. The nearby Blackfriars and Holborn areas are packed with craft cocktail spots, live music pubs, and late-night venues to keep the energy going after the encore.

What People Say

Guests rave about the quiet location despite being in the heart of the city, the spacious and spotless rooms, and the friendly staff. The hotel also earns high marks for its comfortable beds and luxury touches like premium toiletries and Sky channels. The courtyard setting is a frequent favorite for its tranquility.

Areas for Improvement

Not all rooms come with a bath or balcony, so if that’s important to you, make sure to request it in advance—availability may vary and can cost extra. Some guests mention that the restaurant menu is on the pricier side, so budget accordingly if dining on-site.

The Bottom Line

Apex Temple Court Hotel is a serene, stylish haven in central London—ideal for concert-goers who want comfort, convenience, and calm after the curtain falls.

Would stay again as charges were good for this standard of hotel in London. One picky thing - would have liked price to include breakfast.

Liked: Decor, cleanliness, food. Bar staff were exceptional - excellent service with kindness thrown - so rare.
