Location is good , although...

Disliked: Room very noisy. Bed very hard. Pillows very hard. Bathroom stank of smoke.

Old and quaint. Characterful, though...

Liked: A lovely old building which gave pros and cons..
Disliked: The local was in a pedestrian zone, though there was a delivery access at the rear. No parking on site, with multi storey car parks the only option. Due to its age, the room access was via a number of narrow winding stairs, so getting luggage up and down was difficult.

Liked: Great location, everything you could want on hand. Nice traditional bar, good restaurant, staff friendly and helpful.

Disliked: When I booked this accommodation it stated that it had parking unfortunately it didn't and we had to pay extra and park in a multi storey park car, they contacted me too late so that I could find another property, the bed was fine but the bath had so much hair in plug hole that the water won't go down, the water was dangerous hot but they did have signs up, the breakfast was ok but I throw the fruit away because it was definitely pass its sell by date

Disappointing.

Liked: The breakfast and location was good.
Disliked: The room was very noisy. We expected noise from the pub and after replying to an email from the Antelope at time of booking, 2 months before our stay, requested a quiet room as they had suggested.However, on arrival we were in room 2, directly above the pub and in which we heard the constant plumbing noises of flushing toilets and at times noises as if air is in the plumbing system. We would have expected to hear the noise of a neighbouring rooms toilets and shower, but the noise was more or less constant and continued throughout the night. Can only assume we were near the heart of the plumbing system and hearing the noise every time someone in any of the rooms used their bathroom. Consequently we had no sleep.
