Liked: It was a good value compared to other properties
Disliked: It had a window a/c unit, would have been nice if the room were just a bit cooler, but was still plenty comfortable. A bigger pool would have been nice, but there are many other activities available in Key West, so this is not a big deal.

Disliked: Everything needs updating. Carpets looked like they hadn’t been shampooed in forever, the bathroom was a tight space. You couldn’t stand in front of the sink to do anything because the toilet was so close to it. Rust stains around tub. Window blinds don’t actually fit in the window openings so you couldn’t block out the light.

Liked: The location was decent, but too far from Old Town to walk. The outside of the property was cute.
Disliked: The bathroom was disgusting. Hair in the shower, hair all over the floor, mildew on the shower curtain, dirty shelves, splatter marks all over the walls and door. We paid $833 for 2 nights. At over $400 a night, I expected a higher standard of cleanliness. The woman at check-in assured parking would not be a problem when I asked for parking details, but it was an issue the entire time. The property only has a couple parking spots and one of them was taken by an employee’s scooter the whole time. No street parking on the block or around the corner was ever available. The door knob was extremely loose and we never felt that our belongings were secure inside our room. It would be too easy for someone to break the door knob and break in. On our second morning, we were awoken at 9:00am on the dot to extremely loud construction work DIRECTLY above our ceiling. It was so loud, we literally had to shout just to speak to each other, let alone attempt to get any more sleep. We should have been notified that construction would be occurring above us. More so, they shouldn’t have even rented out the room for those dates if there was construction work going on.
