Started off sorta embarrassing and...

Liked: It had a good vibe and esthetic.
Disliked: I wasn't aware that I was going to be charged but then refunded once I checked out with no damages. Which is understandable but I was not made aware of this and it was embarrassing when my card declined at the hotel and if I had not been able to come up with another card at that time for them to charge I would have been screwed because my rooms were prepaid and non refundable and I am from Tennessee and would have been out of luck.

Great location, easy to get...

Liked: Modern, fun vibes, great bar area, comfy bed & free water in the room.
Disliked: No iron in the room, I always like some sort of continental breakfast, and had to ask for a complimentary water upon exit which appeared to be an exception.

inflexible/unresponsive

Disliked: I booked the hotel through Booking.com. Unfortunately I was called for a last minute business trip. I went through Booking.com to try and get some partial refund, but the Marriott Aloft property did not answer. To make it worse I am a lifetime platinum Marriot member. It was a price differential that caused me to go through booking.com. I will never do this again. As far as the Mooresville Aloft, who I have stayed there before, they made a little bit of money off me, but damaged the Marriot reputation with me.

Liked: This is one of our favorite locations but we love all the Aloft hotels! Always clean and the staff is always friendly.

Liked: Bartender and front desk staff on point. Housekeeping kind and accommodating.

Perfect for the whole family...

Liked: My teenage son and nephew had such a great time in the lounge lobby /gym/ pool area , all open 24 hrs! It was such a fun experience for them and they did not get bored , which is a big deal for teenagers !
Disliked: Breakfast items were a bit pricey but there are so many restaurant options in the area that it wasn’t a problem !
