Good stay and would stay...

Liked: Great location for facilities and Hyde Park and easy access transport links. Staff were helpful, room small but fine for an overnight stay and good value.

Good price and amenities, lacks...

Liked: Very good prime location. Room good compared to price. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Staff a bit friendlier and more proactive Rooms are adequately sizes considering price and location. Bathroom good size and nice. Bath was big however no plug to have a soak in. Asked staff fir plug but couldn’t help. Cleanliness lacks attention to detail. Staff available however not fully deployed or proactive . The whole place lacks a bit of TLC and attention to detail. It needs a good manager to elevate the standard. With some little touches this hotel could go from an ok place to a n excellent place to stay. It’s in prime location and has great potential.

Horrible had to leave find...

Liked: It had roaches and l killed one and took photo of it. I will not recommend anyone to stay there. Staff member acted like he did not really care never apologized and said l gotta go through booking.com to get my money back. At 11;00 pm l had to find another hotel to go to. I did not spend the night there once l got out of shower and seen the roach in the bathroom. There was a spray bottle left on my bed for me to spray the bed l thought for bed bugs. I do not know it was a clear bottle of clear liquid.

We really enjoy our stay...

Liked: Location was excellent. Breakfast was good for an included one.
Disliked: A lift going down to breakfast room.

Central location with trade-offs in...

Liked: The hotel is just 5-10min walk from Paddington and 2 more underground / train stations. You can reach everything in the city by maximum 30min walking or riding a train.
Disliked: The windows are the typical old up-and-down sliders that do not really shield from any street noise. Although the road is not a main road and the area is mostly quiet by night, the occasional motorbike or car that needs to show off at night will leave you standing in your bed.The rooms are small and get warm during the day. While there is a ventilator, it does barely help with cooling down the room and if you want fresh air at night, well see above.We had twin rooms with ensuite toilet and a shower. However in one of the rooms you could barely move in and out of the bathroom, as the door opened to the inside and required maneuvering around...
