Get what you pay for

Liked: Cost effective for an overnight stay close to Hyde park.Don't expect the Ritz, and don't expect an elevator.
Disliked: Parking is limited, room was a bit on the small side, patches of squeaky and uneven floor but nothing major.Could do with a deep clean and paint refresh.

Alright for one night's stay

Liked: The staff was nice and helpful. The food was alright as expected of the rating.
Disliked: The room was quite small and one of the beds broke on the first evening. The window was broken and cracked and you can hear about everything happening in the other rooms and from outside. Unfortunately, staff handled breakfast without gloves, when not being cooked.

Liked: The location and hospitality is great they helped us and made sure everything was okey, for the money we paid its good value
Disliked: The room is small and its hard to move around but it was in room descption so it was our choice, there is no lift and stairs are narrow but we were lucky to be on the first floor

Liked: Close to Hyde park
Disliked: Awful house. Very dirty room and bathroom. Owner was talking loudly in front of my room …I had to end my stay on the first day to go to a different hotel.

The staff makes up for...

Liked: Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Location is fantastic.
Disliked: The room was a closet and the shared bathroom a cupboard. Cleanliness is questionable as the facilities are quite dated, so it can be hard to tell.

Good location, very noisy. Stifling...

Liked: The location was good, next to the tube. The bathroom and shower were really nice. There was a kettle.
Disliked: Honestly, it was a tough stay! It wasn't the hotel's fault that I happened to stay in the middle of a heatwave in Summer but the room was utterly stifling hot, no fat, no air con and it was horrendous! This meant that I had to open the window and it was so noisy. I had about 4 hours broken sleep one night. People all had their windows open with the heat. There was a family with a child screaming until about 1pm. The doors in the hotel are all self closing, so they were slamming all the time. The bedside cabinet was too big for the space and had been kind of smashed into place, the bed was on an angle and not flat. There was no proper coffee available at breakfast, all freeze dried which is processed and I don't drink. I left this hotel weary and exhausted!
